Superior Industries Announces Board Resignation

VAN NUYS, Calif.--Dec. 3, 20031, 2003--Superior Industries International, Inc. announced today that Rudolph (Rudy) A. Schlais, Jr. has resigned from the company's Board of Directors for personal reasons. Schlais was elected to Superior's Board in March 2003.

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Louis Borick said, "Rudy Schlais made important contributions to our company during his brief tenure, and we thank him for his outstanding service."
