Orbit Racing - 2004 and Daytona

2004

Orbit Racing will compete in the Rolex Sports Car Series in 2004, fielding
the No. 44 Classic Industries Porsche 911 GT3 RS for Joe and Jay Policastro of
Latrobe, Pa. The father-son pair drove three successful races in the Rolex
Series GT class in 2003. They finished ninth in the Rolex 24 at Daytona, third
at Barber Motorsports Park and fourth in the season finale at Daytona
International Speedway.

"We are very excited to be part of the 2004 Grand-Am season," Jay Policastro
noted. "My dad and I feel confident in the series, team, Porsche equipment
and our ability that will enable us to be competitive for the entire race
season."

Rolex roster

Joe and Jay Policastro will anchor a strong driver lineup for the first race
of the season, the Rolex 24 at Daytona, set for Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 on the
3.56-mile Daytona International Speedway road course in Daytona Beach, Fla. They
will team with Mike Fitzgerald of Fountain Hills, Ariz., Robin Liddell of
Scotland and Johnny Mowlem of England for the 24-hour endurance race.

Fitzgerald finished second overall in the 2001 Rolex 24 at Daytona. He drove
with the Policastros in the 2003 Rolex 24 and the 12 Hours of Sebring, where
they posted top-10 GT finishes. Liddell is a Daytona rookie but an
accomplished racer, with the 2001 European Le Mans Series GT driver title in hand.
Mowlem's resume includes second overall in the 2003 Rolex 24, second in GT at
Daytona in 1999 and a GT second in the 2000 24 Heures du Mans.

"We're looking forward to the test and the 24-hour race," Joe Policastro
said. "We have a great driver lineup - Mike Fitzgerald is returning to drive with
us again this year and we are delighted to have Robin and Johnny joining us;
they bring along a great track record. Some of the problems we had have been
eliminated, so we hope to do much better this time."

power down

Jay Policastro has two wins at Daytona, in historic Porsche racing. He and
Joe Policastro have had to adapt to less power in their transition from
historic and vintage cars to current sports cars. The Orbit Racing Porsche 911 GT3
RS has half the horsepower of the Porsche 935 Jay drove to victory at Daytona
in 2000 and 2001.

smart stuff

The Orbit Racing drivers are well-educated. Fitzgerald has bachelor and
masters degrees, Liddell has a university degree in economics and Mowlem has
degrees in economics and Spanish. Jay and Joe Policastro each have a degree in
accounting.
