North American International Auto Show Selects PR Newswire As Official News Service

NEW YORK and DETROIT, Dec. 22, 2003 -- Automotive reporters covering the 16th annual North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) can locate news releases, photos, audio and video from show participants through PR Newswire, the official news service selected by the producers of the Detroit-based automotive show, the two organizations announced today. The show will be held January 4 - 19, 2004 at the Cobo Conference/Exhibition Center in downtown Detroit.

Breaking news from NAIAS exhibitors will be distributed through PR Newswire to automotive reporters worldwide, and by pre-registering on PR Newswire's media-only web site, PR Newswire for Journalists at www.prnewswire.com/media, media can receive breaking news releases from the show, in their preferred format and delivery schedule. Reporters seeking additional archived content to complement stories, including photos, logos and multimedia, can easily search and download it from the media site once they are registered.

"I strongly encourage reporters who plan on covering news coming out of the NAIAS to register at our media website," said Sarah Skerik, PR Newswire's Vice President of Channel Sales & Marketing. "These are heavy news events and this site will allow reporters to stay on top of breaking show news, filter it according to their needs, and receive it directly in their in-box as it crosses the wires."

All exhibitors' news releases will also be available on the Exhibitor News Channel on the NAIAS show site, found at www.naias.com. Additionally, PR Newswire will deliver extra exposure through the NAIAS Online News Center at www.prnewswire.com/news, located under Trade Shows, and on PR Newswire for Journalists. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to purchase online press kits and specialized distribution circuits to provide news to targeted audiences. PR Newswire will be on-site at the show in the Michelin Media Center.

The North American International Auto Show Broadcasting Center is operated by ZIP-TVS, an NAIAS expert. MultiVu, a PR Newswire company, is ZIP-TVS's preferred, in-house video distribution resource at NAIAS 2004. Housed on-site at the Cobo Convention Center, MultiVu will offer a complete array of multimedia and broadcast production/distribution services to exhibitors at NAIAS.
