Nistevo Corp., the leading Collaborative Logistics Network(SM) for transportation management, announced today the results of its annual customer satisfaction survey. In December 2003, approximately 85 percent of Nistevo's customers responded to an online survey to anonymously provide feedback to Nistevo. Respondents rated their satisfaction with the company's technology and services, as well as ranking the importance of various transportation management capabilities to their 2004 goals.
In 2003, the use of Nistevo's transportation management network grew with the company's acquisition of new members, expansion of contracts with existing customers and introduction of new capabilities including real-time invoice auditing. To date, members of the Nistevo Network manage more than three million shipments annually with more than 1,700 carriers connected to the Network.
Highlights of the survey included Nistevo and industry-specific trend information, such as:
-- 93 percent of member companies were satisfied or very satisfied with the Nistevo Network
-- 100 percent ranked Nistevo as "important" or "very important" to their company's overall logistics strategy
-- 100 percent of respondents have plans to expand their use of the Nistevo Network in 2004, with real-time invoice auditing and expanding customer service alerts topping the list of expansion goals
-- 100 percent currently manage truckload shipments using the Network, with 60 percent managing less-than-truckload and/or intermodal, and a majority showing interest in expanding into Nistevo's offerings for ocean, rail and parcel
When asked what TMS capability is most important to helping them achieve their companies' logistics goals in 2004, respondents provided the following top five answers (in order of importance):
-- Reducing transportation costs
-- Managing operations by exception
-- Automating manual processes
-- Providing online visibility
-- Automating the invoicing process
"Nistevo is greatly encouraged that our commitment to customer satisfaction continues to deliver industry-leading ratings from year-to-year," said Kevin Lynch, president and chief executive officer of Nistevo. "We look forward to the upcoming Network expansions of many of our customers into additional modes and modules, especially real-time invoice auditing.
