Bill Ford Delivers New Jaguar X-Type Sedan To Evelyn Y. Davis, Stockholder Activist

WASHINGTON, Dec. 15, 2003 -- Legendary stockholder activist and corporate government expert Evelyn Y. Davis today got exactly what she wanted -- the keys to a new 2004 Jaguar X-Type sedan.

The Washington, D.C. resident, most famous as the Editor of the financial newsletter Highlights and Lowlights, was presented with the keys by Ford Motor Company Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Bill Ford. Ford presented the new X-Type sedan to Davis at the Watergate complex in Washington, D.C., where she maintains an office and owns a co-op.

"Today I had the pleasure of handing over a new Jaguar X-Type sedan to Evelyn -- proof she has impeccable taste to go along with her formidable reputation," said Mr. Ford.

"This is the PERFECT luxury car for me," Davis said. "It is the right size for easy maneuverability in Washington's sometimes narrow streets; yet it has the elegant styling and interior I have been looking for."
