AAA Minnesota/Iowa Reports Outback Bowl Travel Packages Still Available
MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 9, 2003 -- AAA Minnesota/Iowa reports that travel packages to the 2004 Outback Bowl college football game still are available.
"Despite rumors about tickets being sold-out, AAA announces the availability of various travel packages that include roundtrip airfare, hotel accommodations and reserved Outback Bowl game tickets," said Alice Loff, Manager, AAA Group Travel Services. "Last year, AAA's travel partner, PrimeSport, coordinated our successful tour to the Orange Bowl and this year they'll help us fill the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa with a sea of black and gold Hawkeye fans."
Starting at $1,259/person, based on double occupancy, Hawkeye football enthusiasts can fly round-trip December 30, 2003, to January 2, 2004, from Cedar Rapids/Iowa City or Des Moines to Tampa, stay three nights at the Doubletree Westshore Hotel, enjoy roundtrip transportation between the airport and hotel as well as between the hotel and stadium, and receive one transfer to the Hawkeye Huddle pep rally and receive one ticket to the Outback Bowl game. PrimeSport tour staff will be available on-site and all taxes and service charges are included. WHO/KXNO sportscaster Larry Cotral also will be traveling to Tampa with AAA.
Land-only packages also are available, starting at $599/person, double occupancy.
"With only one charter flight scheduled to fly to Tampa, AAA encourages Hawkeye fans to make their travel arrangements as soon as possible so as not to miss out on this exciting sporting event," adds Loff.
