Nissan recalling Hypermini electric cars

TOKYO December 5, 2003 — Nissan Motor Co said Thursday it will recall 219 units of its Hypermini electric vehicle for free repairs of defective parts.

In a report filed with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Nissan said part of the shock absorber linking the front wheels and car body frames could break off. (Kyodo News)
