ASA LATE MODEL SERIES SCHEDULES TWO EVENTS AT TRI-CITY

PENDLETON,  Ind.  (December  5,  2003)  --  In  one  of  the  most  anticipated  inaugural
seasons  in  late  model  racing  history,  the  2004  ASA  Late  Model  Series  schedule
continues  to  form.  Two  more  dates  have  been  added  with  Michigan's  Tri-City  Motor
Speedway hosting events on Sunday, June 27 and Sunday, September 12. The addition
of  these  two  events  at  Tri-City  Motor  Speedway  increases  the  number  of  events  in
Michigan to three, with the previously announced event at Berlin Raceway.

"Michigan was the birthplace of the ASA Late Model Series and Tri-City brings a good
fan  base  along  with  a  challenging  track  layout,"  said  Joe  Balash,  ASA  operations
director.  "We  believe  these  dates  are  well-positioned  and  will  enhance  the ASA  Late
Model Series even further in familiar surroundings."

The .50-mile oval of Tri-City Motor Speedway located in Auburn, Mich., is known as the
"Trick Track." Tri-City  has  hosted  the ASA  National Tour  on  eight  occasions with Mike
Eddy,  the  seven-time ASA  Champion,  winning  the  series  debut  in  July  of  1989.  Other
event  winners  include  Ted  Musgrave,  Bob  Senneker,  Gary  St.  Amant  and  Georgia's
Mike Miller.

The  former  USPRO  Racing  Series  (now  the  ASA  Late  Model  Series)  made  its  first
appearance at Tri-City Motor Speedway in October of 2003, with Bob Varney winning the
75-lap event. Robbie Johnson placed second and eventual series champion Mark Kortz
filling out the podium finishers.

The ASA Late Model Series will continue ASA's tradition at Tri-City Motor Speedway in
2004. The entire 2004 ASA Late Model Series schedule continues to be formulated with
a total of 14 events expected to make up the final slate.

Officials  are  planning  for  100-lap  green  flag  races  with  a  preference  to  not  have
competitors changing tires, adding fuel or needing pit stops during the events. The cars
will include makes from three major manufacturers - General Motors, Ford and Dodge.
They will utilize template bodies and engines from all three.

Rules for the 2004 ASA Late Model Series are available by contacting the ASA office at
