IQS Appoints Industry Veterans to Strategic Positions in Detroit

CLEVELAND, Dec. 5, 2003 -- IQS, Inc., a leading provider of quality-based Enterprise Performance Management solutions, has announced the appointment of three highly-experienced individuals to key Sales and Consulting roles to promote ongoing growth of the company's expanded, quality- based Enterprise Performance Management solutions.

Brad Dedrick and Michael Talley have been named Senior Account Executives. Based in IQS' Detroit office, they will be responsible for driving continued sales growth in the company's core automotive market segment. With extensive experience in providing enterprise software solutions to manufacturing companies in the automotive sector, Dedrick and Talley will provide this key market with IQS' new Enterprise Performance Management solutions and, more specifically, Supplier Performance Improvement solutions geared specifically to the needs of OEMs, Tier One and Tier Two manufacturers.

Dedrick joins IQS from Oracle Corporation, most recently serving as a Practice Manager in Oracle's Automotive Industry Group. Dedrick has spent over 10 years in the automotive industry providing software, technology and services to domestic OEM's and large automotive suppliers. His work history also includes serving as Executive Account Director with Netscape Communications for four years, with responsibility for building Netscape's Automotive Solutions practice.

Talley has spent the majority of his career with Oracle Corporation in a variety of consulting and sales capacities, most recently serving as Vice President of Consulting, Automotive Industry Group. He brings a wealth of experience in the application of enterprise performance software into automotive manufacturing organizations.

Quality industry veteran John McKee has joined IQS as Senior Consultant within the company's Professional Services Group. In this pivotal role, McKee will apply his expertise to providing system implementation supervision, custom programming, database administration consulting, training and compliance auditing to IQS' new and existing customer base.

McKee brings over 20 years of quality management and system administration experience to his role at IQS. Most recently, he served for seven years with automotive supplier Schefenacker, Inc. in a variety of quality management capacities, including Supplier Development Manager and Quality Systems Manager. Within Schefenacker, McKee was instrumental in implementing the IQS Quality Performance Management solution, which enabled the company to implement supplier charge-back programs for nonconforming materials, skip-lot inspection sampling and document management programs to automate the engineering change process. He led Schefenacker's implementation and registration efforts for QS-9000 and ISO-14001 while leveraging the use of the IQS solution.
