CCC Information Services Introduces CCC Pathways 4.1 Estimating Software
ORLANDO, Fla.--Dec. 5, 2003--Upgrade from version 4.0 includes integrated recycled part functionality |
CCC Information Services Inc. today announces that version 4.1 of its CCC Pathways(R) estimating software, an electronic estimate-writing tool for the auto-repair industry, will be available in the first quarter of 2004. CCC Pathways 4.1 includes new features to help increase the speed and efficiency with which estimates are written.
The company will release this version less than a year after its predecessor, CCC Pathways 4.0. The product's "componetized" architectural design allows CCC to quickly make adjustments to the product thus enabling CCC to be more responsive to customer needs.
Among the new features of CCC Pathways version 4.1 is Recycled Assemblies Crash Estimating Data list of non-included operations, which identifies and lists non-included labor operations that may need to be considered when using a recycled part on a vehicle. The labor time associated with the recycled part can be accounted for in the estimate, helping users improve the cost effectiveness of recycled part usage.
"As recycled parts forge ahead in the industry, it has become important to equip our customers with the tools to incorporate recycled parts into an estimate without spending too much time or jeopardizing accuracy," said Jim Powers, product management for CCC.
Other features of version 4.1 will enable users to search the MOTOR database by part number, display the repair estimate as a percentage of the total loss threshold and expanded merge capabilities.
