Jeep(R) Brand Re-ups as the Official Vehicle of the 2003 Army-Navy Game
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Dec. 4, 2003 -- When the football teams of the United States Military Academy and the U.S. Naval Academy meet December 6 on the turf of Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Jeep(R) vehicles will be there for their second year as the "Official Vehicle of the Army-Navy Game." Jeep brand is the only brand ever chosen to be a presenting sponsor in the 104-year history of the game. Jeep will also be the presenting sponsor of this year's Army-Navy Gala the evening before the game.
"The Jeep brand's association with the armed forces maintains a bond steeped in tradition," said Jeff Bell, Vice President, Chrysler and Jeep Marketing. "It's an honor for the Jeep brand to be the official vehicle of the 104th 2003 Army-Navy Game."
In addition to television, Jeep brand will be the exclusive automotive sponsor on the Army Sports Radio Network, which is broadcast in 17 U.S. markets, as well as the Armed Forces Radio network to all military installations throughout the world.
This partnership for the Army-Navy game is but one element of the Jeep brand's involvement and support of the United States Army and Naval academies. Other elements include the military incentive program and the sponsorship of athletic programs at both academies.
