Delphi Names Sales & Marketing Vice President

Sector presidents take on additional global responsibilities

TROY, Mich., Dec. 4 -- Delphi Corporation's Board of Directors today announced that F. Timothy Richards, 49, has been elected vice president and named vice president, sales & marketing effective Jan. 1, 2004. He will be appointed to Delphi's Strategy Board and report to J. T. Battenberg III, chairman, CEO and president. Richards is presently executive director of business lines for Delphi Energy & Chassis.

"Tim's engineering background and extensive divisional and international experience will provide both breadth and depth in understanding our customers' future needs," said Battenberg. "He will have a major role in growing our global product initiatives in new and current markets."

Delphi's Board of Directors also announced the following related appointments:

* Atul Pasricha, 46, presently vice president, mergers & acquisitions and new markets, becomes responsible for all Delphi Energy & Chassis business lines succeeding Richards. Pasricha remains a vice president and corporate officer and will continue as a member of the Delphi Strategy Board. In his new assignment, Pasricha will report to Guy C. Hachey, Delphi vice president and president of Delphi Energy & Chassis.

* John G. Blahnik, 49, vice president and treasurer, assumes responsibilities previously held by Pasricha and is named vice president, treasury and mergers, acquisitions and new markets. Blahnik will continue to report to Alan S. Dawes, vice chairman and chief financial officer.

* Pamela M. Geller, 38, assistant treasurer, is named treasurer, reporting to Blahnik.

* Rodney O'Neal, 50, president, Delphi's Dynamics, Propulsion and Thermal Sector assumes additional responsibility for Europe and South America. Volker J. Barth, 56, president, Delphi Europe, Middle East & Africa, and Gabor Janos Deak, 54, president, Delphi South American operations, will report to O'Neal.

* David B. Wohleen, 53, president, Delphi's Electrical, Electronics, Safety & Interior Sector assumes additional responsibility for Asia Pacific. Choon T. Chon, 57, president, Delphi Asia Pacific, will report to Wohleen.

* O'Neal and Wohleen will continue to report to Battenberg.
