Tricon Industries, Ltd. Names Mapperson Managing Director, European Operations
LISLE, Ill., Dec. 3, 2003 -- Andy Mapperson has joined Tricon Industries, Ltd. as the Managing Director of European Operations, announced Ralph Grandle, President of Tricon Industries, Inc. In his new position Mapperson is responsible for overseeing Tricon's European operations and will play a vital role in the firm's globalization efforts.
Prior to joining Tricon, Mapperson worked as a sales director with Highfield Associates, where he was responsible for the firm's overall sales and marketing, and managed Tricon's European account. He also held positions with JCB Landpower and Ford Motor Co. Tractor Division. "Andy Mapperson is an experienced individual who will work well in a position of this nature," said Grandle. "He is already familiar with our European operations, only further suiting him for the position."
Mapperson earned a Higher National Diploma in business management from the University of Essex, United Kingdom, and currently is a member of the Institute of Purchasing and Supply, United Kingdom.
Tricon Industries, Inc. specializes in insert molding and specialized components for worldwide automotive, mobile communications and appliance markets.
