Calderon Accepts Broward Community College Presidency
Dr. Larry Anthony Calderon, a 28-year veteran of the California community college system, has accepted the position of president at Broward Community College in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Calderon succeeds Dr. Willis Holcombe who retires at the end of January after 17 years of service to the college. The Broward Community College District Board of Trustees asked Calderon to join the college on Nov. 17 and confirmed him as the new president at the monthly trustees meeting on Nov. 26, 2003.
