ASA Late Model Series Adds Sandusky to 2004 Schedule

Pendleton,  Ind.  (December  3,  2003)  -  In  one  of  the  most  anticipated  inaugural
seasons  in  recent  late  model  racing  history,  the  seventh  event  of  the  2004 ASA  Late
Model Series season has been set for Sandusky Speedway in Ohio on Saturday, August
28. This is the third announced race that will take place in the state of Ohio with other
stops  at  Mansfield  Motor  Speedway  on  Saturday,  June  5  and  Toledo  Speedway  on
Saturday, July 31.

"We  are  certainly  pleased  to  add  another  Ohio  track  to  the  ASA  Late  Model  Series
schedule," said Joe Balash, ASA operations director. "Sandusky is a popular tourist area
and will allow us to bring our brand of racing to a quality facility with a half-mile oval."

The nearly 37-year-old ASA National Tour has made two stops at Sandusky with Illinois
racer  Bobby  Dotter  winning  the  most  recent  event  in  1987,  fending  off  a  furious
challenge from Dale Earnhardt, the seven-time NASCAR Winston Cup Champion. The
ASA Late Model Series will continue ASA's tradition at Sandusky Speedway in 2004.

The entire 2004 ASA Late Model Series schedule continues to be formulated with a total
of 14 events expected to make up the final slate.

Officials  are  planning  for  100-lap  green  flag  races  with  a  preference  to  not  have
competitors changing tires, adding fuel or needing pit stops during the events. The cars
will include makes from three major manufacturers - General Motors, Ford and Dodge.
They will utilize template bodies and engines from all three.

Rules for the 2004 ASA Late Model Series are available by contacting the ASA office at
