Mitsubishi Motors Reports November Sales

CYPRESS, Calif., Dec. 2, 2003 -- Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) today reported November 2003 sales of 16,910 units. Sales were supported by a record month for the Mitsubishi Endeavor S.U.V., which continued gathering momentum by posting its highest monthly total ever at 5,407 units. Total sales in November 2003 represent a 12 percent increase over sales in October based on daily selling rate and a 39 percent decline compared to November sales in 2003.

"Sales improved over last month and are trending in the right direction," said Mike Tocci, senior vice president, sales, distribution and fleet, MMNA Sales Division.

The all-new Mitsubishi Galant, which just arrived in dealer showrooms and is now on sale, will be supported by a national television advertising campaign expected to start next month. Starting under $18,000, Galant has been redesigned from the ground up, with an edgy new look, more interior space and the biggest V6 engine in its class.
