Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Appoints Vice President - Customer Advocate

New Position Elevates Company's Commitment to Customers

TULSA, Okla., Dec. 2 -- Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. today named Janet Worley to the newly created position of Vice President - Customer Advocate. In this role, Worley will be responsible for designing and implementing the company's customer service initiatives and for directing the strategic planning and operation of customer service functions. Worley will lead the drive to ensure the company's business units are appropriately aligned with the objectives of the customer service initiatives. She reports to Don Himelfarb, Chief Administrative Officer.

Worley joined the company in 1991 as manager of financial planning for Dollar Rent A Car Systems. During her tenure, she has served in a variety of positions, including director of quality assurance. She was promoted to staff vice president of reservations in January 2000 and has been responsible for worldwide telephone sales.

Prior to joining the company, Worley worked for Ernest & Young, LLP for seven years in Tulsa and Phoenix as an audit manager. She is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a B.A. in accounting, and she is a certified public accountant.
