Ford Credit Employees Make Wishes Come True For More Than 600 Foster Children in 'Operation Good Cheer'

Ford Credit employees have purchased and wrapped gifts for more than 600 Michigan foster children as part of "Operation Good Cheer," a holiday program sponsored by Child & Family Services of Michigan, Inc.
Under the program, foster children made Christmas wish lists, and Ford Credit employees went shopping. The wrapped gifts will be stored in Ford Credit's lobby, and loaded onto semi trailers to be delivered in time for Christmas. Ford Credit has taken part in "Operation Good Cheer" since 1984, fulfilling Christmas wishes for nearly 9,500 Michigan foster children.
On Friday, Dec. 5, Ford Credit President and Chief Operating Officer Michael Bannister will present the mountain of more than 1,800 gifts to Sharon Vichcales, coordinator of "Operation Good Cheer."
