S-Y Systems Technologies, Inc. Announces Appointments: Robert McDonald to Sales Director and Tim Mailley to Business Development and Core Sales Manager

DEARBORN, Mich.--Dec. 1, 2003--Robert McDonald was appointed sales director and Tim Mailley to Business Development and Core Sales Manager for S-Y Systems Technologies, Inc., a Siemens VDO Automotive and Yazaki North America joint venture company supplying electrical and electronic distribution systems, announced Robert Cowley, Executive Director - Sales and Marketing.

McDonald is responsible for all commercial sales activities for S-Y Systems car and truck programs, including the coordination of regional customer meetings, presentations, technology reviews and entertainment events, primary customer initiatives, and participation in bi-annual sales conferences among regional offices with Ford Motor Company group sales.

As Business Development and Core Sales Manager, Mailley reports to Cowley and is responsible for all car and truck administrative functions including internal sales communications, updating orders and after sales service.

"McDonald and Mailley are key members of the S-Y Systems sales team that now combines both car and truck programs to provide total customer support through improved communications, responsiveness and service quality," noted Cowley.

McDonald was formerly a sales manager with Yazaki North America, Inc. He was also platform financial leader with Tower Automotive and program manager with AFL.

He is a graduate of Central Michigan University and resides with his family in Canton, Michigan.

Mailley was formerly a senior account manager for S-Y Systems. Prior to that, he held various positions at Yazaki North America, including sales supervisor, advanced marketing analyst, project analyst and buyer.

He is a graduate of Central Michigan University and received a Masters in Business Administration from Wayne State University. He resides with his family in Livonia.
