ABRA Opens 84th Repair Center

MINNEAPOLIS--Nov. 2, 20034, 2003--ABRA Auto Body & Glass, a Minneapolis-based damaged vehicle repair company, announced today the acquisition of Kennesaw Paint & Body located in Kennesaw, Georgia. This acquisition represents ABRA's eighty-fourth repair center, sixty-four of which are corporate-owned along with twenty franchise locations.

The purchase of Kennesaw Paint & Body brings the total number of ABRA Auto Body & Glass repair center in Georgia to sixteen. Other locations include Buckhead, Carrollton, Conyers, Cumming, Douglasville, Dunwoody, Fayetteville, Lawrenceville, Lilburn, two in Marietta, Morrow, Newnan, Peachtree City and Suwanee.

When asked why he and his wife chose to sell their business to ABRA, Mike Jenkins replied, "We own two businesses in Georgia, and decided we needed to concentrate on the repair center closer to our home. However, we were not willing to sell our Kennesaw location until we found a buyer whose values mirrored ours. We feel we've found that with ABRA, and we know they bring a wealth of experience, technological expertise, and insurance relationships to our center. Our team members will greatly benefit by being members of the ABRA team."

The Kennesaw repair center, located at 3117 Moon Station Road, was built in 1996 and consists of 13,000 square feet. Staffing consists of a general manager, two customer service managers, one customer service representative, five body technicians, three paint technicians, a quality service technician, a porter and a parts coordinator.
