J. Michael Losh Joins TRW Automotive Board of Directors

LIVONIA, Mich., Nov. 24, 2003 -- TRW Automotive today announced the election of J. Michael Losh to the company's board of directors. The appointment is effective immediately and will increase the number of TRW Automotive directors to eight.

Mr. Losh spent thirty-six years with General Motors Corporation, most recently as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President. From 1992 to 1994, he was General Motors' Vice President and Group Executive in charge of North American Vehicles Sales, Service and Marketing. His previous General Motors assignments spanned managerial and finance positions in numerous countries as well as general manager posts of both the Pontiac Motor Division and the Oldsmobile Division.

After leaving General Motors, Mr. Losh served as Chairman of Metaldyne Corporation from October 2000 through April 2002.

Mr. Losh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the General Motors Institute and an M.B.A. from Harvard University. He currently serves on the boards of MASCO Corporation, Cardinal Health, Inc., AON Corporation, AMB Property Corporation, Metaldyne Corporation and H.B. Fuller Company.
