SLS Speakers Selected for High-Profile Event at Leading Concert Venue

RLA/2 Line Array System Chosen by Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts

SPRINGFIELD, Mo., Nov. 20 -- SLS International Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: SITI) announced today that its large RLA/2 Line Array system was utilized in a series of three headline events at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts in Cerritos, California. The featured performers included Crystal Gayle, The Ramsey Lewis Trio with Nancy Wilson, and the legendary Dionne Warwick.

The 1,850 seat center has long been recognized as an example of exceptional acoustic and theatrical design. The unique, award-winning design of the facility enables it to be transformed into six different configurations. "Our venue is well known among the audio manufacturers as a great proving ground for innovative new products," said Jack Hayback, Chief Audio/Video Engineer at the center. Mr. Hayback a graduate of the highly acclaimed Full Sail recording arts academy of Orlando, former A&M Records associate and veteran front-of-house engineer, has been involved at the center for over eleven years. He has mixed such notable performers as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Mel Torme, and Bill Cosby.

"I was very impressed with the clean performance of the system," he added. "It was very easily rigged with its four-to-a-box rolling cases and precision bumper bars. I tend to be very skeptical about new technology, but the RLA/2 system performed exactly as predicted and the coverage of the venue was fantastic. "Lots of places look to the center for their approval of technology ... it's a word of mouth thing. I have no reservations in highly recommending the RLA/2 to anyone looking for a large venue line array system that not only performs well but is also easily rigged and configured."

The SLS RLA/2 system was introduced to the center by the SG Group, a marketing firm based in Hermosa Beach that represents SLS Loudspeakers in the Southern California territory. "We are very excited about our involvement with SLS," said Steve Gorsky founder of the firm. "This technology is cutting-edge in the pro-audio industry and the Cerritos Center is a fitting place to validate its performance."

"The RLA/2 system has certainly succeeded in gaining the attention of the California audio production contingent. The SG Group has been fundamental in creating brand awareness in the LA market," said Jeff Lowry, Marketing Director for SLS Loudspeakers. "The SG Marketing Group now has a full working RLA/2 demo system that is booked solid for demos in the Southern California area."
