20 Chrysler and Dodge Minivans to Deliver 8,000 Pounds of Food To Lighthouse in Time for Thanksgiving

WHAT: A caravan of 20 Chrysler and Dodge Minivans will deliver more than 8,000 pounds of non-perishable food to the Lighthouse Emergency Services, just in time for Thanksgiving. The goods were collected during a 20-day food drive led by Chrysler Group employees in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Minivan.

The minivans will be driven by Chrysler Group employees and will depart from the Walter P. Chrysler Museum. (See timeline below).

          9:30 a.m. -- Minivan line up and departure from the Walter P.
                       Chrysler Museum
          9:45 a.m. -- The caravan arrives at All Saints Church; Chrysler
                       Group employees form a human assembly line to unload
                       food from minivans

  WHERE:  All Saints Church
          171 West Pike Street (2 blocks west of Southbound Woodward)
          Pontiac, Mich.

DETAILS/ OTHER: The minivan caravan begins at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum at 9:30 a.m. The caravan will arrive at the Lighthouse between 9:45 a.m. and 10 a.m. The employees will then form an assembly line to unload the food from the vehicles.
