Delphi Appoints Simon National Sales Manager, Delphi Integrated Service Solutions

TROY, Mich., Nov. 19, 2003 -- Delphi Corp. announced today the appointment of Michael Simon, 39, as sales manager, national accounts for Delphi Integrated Service Solutions, part of Delphi Product & Service Solutions. Simon has been serving as marketing manager for the past year. The appointment was effective Nov. 1, 2003. In his new assignment, Simon will report to William Wrubel, sales and marketing director, Delphi Integrated Service Solutions, and will be responsible for all national account activity and supporting key customer relationships.

Simon joined Delphi as product manager in 2002 after spending more than 15 years in automotive aftermarket sales for companies such as Associated Equipment Corporation and SPX Corporation, serving as international sales manager, business line manager and national accounts manager. "Michael has built an incredible track record at Delphi and he is the ideal person to lead Delphi into its next phase of deployment with national accounts," said Wrubel. "We know his product and industry knowledge will help fuel Delphi's growth."

Simon began his career selling and supporting automotive diagnostic equipment after graduating with a bachelor of science degree in marketing from St. Cloud State University. He also earned a degree in computer technology from Minneapolis Technical College.
