BorgWarner Names Bill Kelley Director, Drivetrain Technology
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Nov. 19, 2003 -- BorgWarner Inc. has appointed Bill Kelley to the newly created position of Director - Drivetrain Technology. Kelley will be responsible for developing advanced drivetrain products and technologies that combine the expertise of BorgWarner Transmission Systems and BorgWarner TorqTransfer Systems, and leveraging the company's capabilities to expand into other areas of the vehicle drivetrain. He is based at the BorgWarner Powertrain Technical Center in Auburn Hills.
Kelley joined BorgWarner in 1987 as a Senior Development Engineer. He has held positions of increasing responsibility, and was most recently Director of Advanced Product Engineering for BorgWarner TorqTransfer Systems. He holds a bachelor of science degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, and a master of science degree in Nuclear Materials from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
