Chamber to Honor Ford Motor Company at Business Recognition Luncheon; Edsel Ford II Will Accept the Award and Speak to More Than 325 Attendees

WHO: Edsel Ford II, the great-grandson of Henry Ford and former president and Chief Operating Officer of Ford Motor Company, will accept the Business Recognition Award from the Dearborn Chamber of Commerce and speak about corporate civic responsibility. WHAT: The Dearborn Chamber of Commerce's annual Business Recognition Award luncheon will honor Ford Motor Company and Dearborn businesses celebrating milestone anniversaries. The award presented to Ford marks the culmination of its 100th anniversary. The Honorable Mayor Michael A. Guido, assisted by Chamber Chair Margaret Blohm, will present the awards. Blohm will also present the Chairman's Award to Oakwood Healthcare System, Inc. for the company's extensive service to Dearborn and the Chamber. WHEN: Wednesday, November 19, 2003 The luncheon begins at noon with networking and numerous photo opportunities and will last until approximately 2 p.m. THE PRESS IS INVITED TO ATTEND; THERE WILL BE PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES OF THE RECIPIENTS WITH THEIR AWARDS FOLLOWING THE LUNCHEON.
