DACG To Oversee Training of 5,700 Continental AG Employees

HOUSTON--Nov. 1, 20039, 2003--DA Consulting Group Inc. (OTCBB:DACG), a leading provider of corporate end-user training and performance-support solutions for almost 20 years, will undertake a sizable training project for Continental AG's tire division. DACG will provide training on six SAP modules for 5,700 SAP users worldwide and has developed a tailor-made training concept that fits in closely with the business processes of the tire manufacturer.

Continental employees will work with the SAP R/3-Modules for Sales and Distribution, Material Management, Inventory Management, Project System, Financial Accounting and Controlling. DACG is implementing a two-stage training concept to efficiently familiarize the users with the new applications. Phase one consists of training Key- and Power-users who will carry out business acceptance and integration testing at Continental. In the second stage, end users in 18 countries will receive training on the applications, which will be delivered in their respective national languages.

Training is delivered to groups of no more than 12 participants. "The individual training and simulation exercises are constructed in such a way that they closely mirror the situation of the users in their workplace," describes Angelika Baeumer, regional manager Central Europe DACG, "an essential advantage of the training model. Through the exercise-based training, the employees not only become acquainted with the functions of the new software, but at the same time familiarize themselves with the changed business processes. In their daily work with SAP the employees are supported by a specially developed Online-Help."

"After a lengthy selection procedure, DACG prevailed against six other bidders," explains Angela Werner, transition manager IT in Continental AG. "Next to the innovative training approach, the almost twenty years' experience with international SAP end-user training and the successfully completed projects in numerous large firms have convinced us."

For Jean-Jacques Sauvaget, transition manager business in Continental AG, one of the essential aspects of a successful international rollout was the training of the courses in the respective national languages. "Through this we reach a considerably faster acceptance of the new system by the users and secure a smooth transition process."
