The patent entitled "Non-Violation Event Filtering for a Traffic Violator Detection System" teaches the use of customer selectable filters designed to reduce the number of events generated by a red light enforcement system, such as minimum speed thresholds, time after red delays, and permitted vehicle turns such as right-on-red.Three previous patents received address the use of video in an integrated red light enforcement system, method of using video to track and predict red light violations, and the collision avoidance feature designed to actively avoid collisions and save lives at an intersection.
