Online Media Registration for LA Auto Show Open Thru Nov. 21

   WHAT:     Journalists can conveniently apply online for LA Auto Show
             media credentials now through Nov. 21 by logging onto
             www.laautoshow.com and clicking on Media Days to access the
             eligibility form.

             The World and North American debut of production and concept
             vehicles will occur during manufacturer news conferences held
             on Media Days.  Additionally, journalists will see some of the
             latest design trends and new model innovations being rolled out
             at the first major auto show of the year and have the
             opportunity to interview influential auto industry executives.

   WHEN:     Dec. 29 and 30 -- Media Days
             Jan. 2-11 -- Public Days

   MEDIA
   DAYS:     General Motors' North American President Gary Cowger will
             deliver the keynote address Monday, Dec. 29 at the Motor Press
             Guild breakfast kickoff event.  Cowger is a true American
             success story, rising through the GM corporate ranks after
             beginning his career in 1965 as a co-op student at the Buick-
             Oldsmobile-Pontiac Division plant in his hometown of Kansas
             City, Kansas.
