DUBLIN, Calif., Nov. 17 -- Sybase, Inc. , a leading enterprise infrastructure and mobile software company, today announced that Hyundai/Kia Motor companies have selected Sybase(R) mobile database and management solutions to power its new mobile sales force automation (SFA) application. The solution will be deployed to 22,000 sales agents throughout Korea beginning in 2004.
Hyundai/Kia Motor companies required a mobile SFA solution that could both easily integrate into their existing infrastructure and extend this information to mobile workers, empowering sales professionals with the information they need, when they need it. The Sybase technology behind the solution includes: Manage Anywhere Studio(TM), a complete solution that provides centralized management of applications and hardware; and SQL Anywhere(R) Studio, the market-leading mobile database and synchronization solution.
