Dedication of Visteon Playroom for Teen-Aged Patients at Children's Hospital Set for 3 p.m. Tuesday, November 18
What: Representatives of Children's Hospital and Visteon Corp. will join teen-aged patients in dedicating a new activity center at the hospital that will provide recreational activities and academic support for middle school- and high school-aged patients facing long hospital stays. The room was established through a $94,000 grant from the Visteon Fund.
A brief dedication ceremony will be followed by a karaoke activity involving young patients in the new Visteon Playroom.

Background: The Visteon Fund was created in 1999 to enrich the lives of children and improve the environment through local organizations. Through the Visteon Fund, Dearborn-based Visteon Corp. has donated more than $300,000 to Children's Hospital for programs such as a burn unit and a child life program. Currently the Visteon Fund is active in 18 countries with more than 80 employee-led teams throughout the world.
