Michigan-Based Power Process Piping Company Adds Top-Notch Industry Experts on Road to New Growth
New vice presidents join recently retained COO in company quest to exceed growing customer base expectations
PLYMOUTH, Mich., Nov. 13 -- Power Process Piping, Inc. (PPP), a leading supplier of complex piping systems, has made several additions to its management team to aid in the company's successful strategy for superior service and aggressive growth.
Max Murdock has been named Vice President of Estimating and Project Management. He is responsible for the management of the estimating department from point of sales to the award of contracts. Murdock also is responsible for the management of projects from the initial awarding of the contract to the completion of the project.
"The recruitment and retention of a strong and experienced management team is key to the success of any company," said PPP Chief Operating Officer Art Espey. "Max's extensive experience in project management made him a great fit for PPP."
Prior to joining PPP, Murdock served as manager of construction sales for W.J. O'Neil Co. He also held several positions with Robert Carter Corp. completing his 24-year tenure at the company as executive vice president.
PPP also recently promoted Jerry Palmer to Vice President of Strategic Relationship Management. Palmer is responsible for developing and managing key areas of the business including maintenance of customer relationships, strategic partner relationships, new market opportunities and personnel management.
"Jerry brings more than 40 years of successful experience to the executive team," said Espey. "His extensive experience in the industry will be invaluable to our plan of exceeding customer expectations and planned growth."
Espey, a Detroit native and former U.S. Marine Corp. officer, also recently joined Power Process Piping. As COO Espey is responsible for the company's day-to-day operations and long-term strategic growth plans. Prior to joining PPP, Espey was a General Manager for Saturn Electronics and Engineering, Inc. and a noted turnaround expert.
