ASA Racing To Visit `New Look' Milwaukee Mile In 2004

Pendleton,  Ind.  (November  12,  2003)  -  America's  Legendary  Oval,  The  Milwaukee
Mile, will host the American Speed Association (ASA Racing Series) in 2004, marking
the first time ASA has visited the facility since 2000. The 200-lap event is scheduled for
Sunday,  August  29  and  will  mark  the  34th  time  that  the  ASA  Racing  Series  will  have
competed at the 1-mile oval on the west side of Milwaukee.

"With the spectacular improvements that have been made at the facility coupled with the
track's long and successful history with ASA, it became a great time to reunite ourselves
with  The  Milwaukee  Mile,"  said  ASA  President/CEO  Steve  Dale.  "It  gives  our  drivers,
sponsors and fans another special opportunity to show their stuff at a first-rate venue."

Keeping  The  Milwaukee  Mile  among  the  sport's  elite  facilities,  the  venerable  grand
dame of racing underwent a massive $20 million facelift over the past two years. Prior to
the  2002  season,  the  track  replaced  20,000  bleacher  seats  along turns one and four.
During  the  spring  of  2003,  a  completely  new,  state-of-the-art  center  grandstand  area
was completed in time to celebrate the facility's 100th anniversary.

Since  1903,  The  Milwaukee  Mile  has  been  one  of  the  premier  venues  in  American
motorsports.  Nearly  every  major  auto  racing  sanction  body  has  hosted  events  at  The
Mile through its century of existence. The roster of past winners at the track includes the
greatest names in both open wheel and stock car racing. A listing of ASA drivers that
have won at Milwaukee is also stacked with accomplished "name" competitors.

Starting  with  the  May  7,  1978  race  that  saw  ASA  all-time  win  leader  Bob  Senneker
record a victory at The Milwaukee Mile, other winners through the years have included
Wisconsin  legend  Dick  Trickle,  Mark  Martin,  the  late  Alan Kulwicki, Jim Sauter, Rusty
Wallace,  Butch  Miller,  Mike  Eddy,  Johnny  Benson  Jr.,  Joe  Shear  and  2003  ASA
National Champion Kevin Cywinski.

The August 27, 2000 race saw Mike Garvey, of Atlanta, lead Mike Cope and Canadian
Scott Fraser across the finish line in the Time Warner Cable 200. The event featured
Wisconsin  native  Johnny  Sauter  setting  fast  time  with  a  lap  of  30.296  seconds  at
118.828  mph  and  starting  from  the  pole.  Sauter  went  on  to  capture  the  2001  ASA
Championship and now competes in the highest divisions of NASCAR.

The ASA Racing Series completed its 36th season last month at Nashville, Tenn. Kevin
Cywinski,  of  Wausau,  Wis.,  was  crowned  the  series  2003  National  Champion  while
Reed Sorenson, of Peachtree City, Ga., won honors as the $50,000 Rookie of the Year.

Both Cywinski, previously the 1997 series champion, and Sorenson will be honored at
the ASA National Awards Banquet on Saturday, January 24, at Caesars Indiana hotel
Casino near Louisville, Ky.
