SAE Detroit Section to Introduce 2004 General Motors Parallel Hybrid Trucks at December 9 Meeting

DETROIT--Nov. 1, 20030, 2003--General Motors will introduce the first production parallel hybrid trucks, marketed under Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, at the SAE Detroit Section meeting on December 9, 2003. Terry Woychowski, Vehicle Chief Engineer, Stephen Poulos, Powertrain Chief Engineer, and Richard Wisley, Program Engineering Manager will be on hand to lead the discussion on this industry-first hybrid application.

The meeting will be held at the San Marino Club, 1685 E. Big Beaver, Troy, MI. The evening's social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 and the presentation at 7:30.
