Davin Wheel Company Breaks With Convention in 2004; Introduces First Non-Spinning Product for Performance Wheel Market
LAS VEGAS--Nov. 7, 2003--Davin Wheels, the originator of the first continuous motion wheel, reaffirmed its position as the leader of the custom wheel industry last night with the unveiling of its 2004 collection. In a private reception at the Four Seasons Hotel, Davin debuted Speed, its first ever non-spinning product, alongside the next generation of its patented spinning product lines -- Revolution, Wire and BLAK. Davin also introduced Streetspin by Davin, the company's most extensive product offering with fitments for more than 125 vehicles.The product unveiling opened with the brand film "Forward Motion," which primed the audience of more than two hundred industry representatives and media personnel for its first glimpse of what Davin has in store for the next year. During the presentation, Director of Marketing Darius Billings unveiled the 2004 collection, which includes:
-- Davin BLAK - Diamond, the newest addition to Davin's successful sport custom line, features an interconnected, split, five-spoke design. The popular Onyx, Abyss and Midnight Star editions will be carried over into the next year.
-- Davin Wire - Davin has partnered with the best in wire wheels, Dayton Wheel Concepts, to offer a 20 inch and 22 inch spinning, wire wheel. D-88 and D-120 are now available in a gold, wire spinner-style and the original chrome.
-- Davin Revolution - Revolution, the product line that made Davin famous, returns to its classic chrome look in 2004 with its 5.0 series. The platinum and gold inlay at the end of each spoke includes the Davin logo and patent number for its spinning technology. As with previous generations, Revolution 5.0 features the distinctive, oval Davin logo cap. The Revolution H2, introduced in May 20, 200303, will continue to be available in 2004.
-- Davin Speed - Speed is Davin's first foray into the performance wheel market and the company's first venture from its spinning heritage. A three-piece, rotary-forged wheel, Speed boasts a hub-centric application. It further distinguishes itself from the market with an exclusive, one-spoke, carbon fiber call-out in red or black. Available in 18 inch to 22 inch diameters with five- and seven-spoke designs, Speed has fitments for Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Corvette and Viper, as well as luxury performance vehicles like Mercedes and BMW.
-- Streetspin by Davin - The introduction of Streetspin by Davin will make the company's patented spinning technology and superior design available to a broader audience. Streetspin offers "affordable luxury" to auto enthusiasts with design cues taken directly from Davin's signature Revolution series. The wheels will be available in two styles, SS1, a traditional five-spoke design, and SS2, which pays homage to traditional mesh-style wheels. Base wheels will be available in diameters ranging from 18 inches to 24 inches.

Currently Davin BLAK and Davin Wire are available for purchase. Davin Revolution 5.0 and Streetspin by Davin will be available in December 2003. Davin Speed will be released in early 2004.
