Cummins Chairman to Present at Two Investment Conferences

COLUMBUS, Ind.--Nov. 7, 2003--Cummins Inc. will participate in two upcoming broker-sponsored conferences. On Wednesday, November 12, 2003, Cummins Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Tim Solso is scheduled to make a presentation to analysts and investors at 9:10 a.m. Central Time at the 33rd Annual Robert W. Baird & Co. Industrial Technology Conference in Chicago, Ill.

Mr. Solso also will make a presentation on Thursday, November 13, 2003, at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Standard Time in Boston, Mass., at the 2nd Annual JPMorgan Small Cap Conference: Think Big, Buy Small.
