EVERETT, Wash., Nov. 6, 2003 -- Randy's Ring & Pinion, a leading supplier of truck and off-road differential parts, is proud to announce the selection of Volunteers of America as the recipient of the 2004 Randy's Ring & Pinion Public Service Award.
The award was established this year to enrich the lives of underserved people in our community. "Caring and improving our community is an extension of who we are. Helping the less fortunate brings us together and everyone wins," said Randy Lyman, President of Randy's Ring & Pinion. "The positive work of Volunteers of America's multi-service programs stand out in this region, making them a wise investment to impact those we hope to reach."
"Volunteers of America is very excited about the opportunity to work with Randy's Ring & Pinion in the development and implementation of a marketing/PR campaign," said Gilbert Saparto, President/CEO of Volunteers of America. "It will increase awareness and public support of Volunteers of America, and serves as a great example of how a successful and respected corporate partner can, by using their expertise and resources, help a non-profit organization to accomplish goals not otherwise possible without diverting precious direct service dollars."
