Michael Jackson Selects Barrett-Jackson Auction Company to Sell Custom Bentley

Barrett-Jackson to Auction 'King of Pop's' Celebrity-Signed, Custom Bentley Arnage Automobile Used During 'What More Can I Give?' Music Video; Proceeds to Benefit New Philanthropic Foundation

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Nov 6 -- Barrett-Jackson Auction Company will auction at No Reserve the spectacular custom-built 2001 Bentley Arnage Red Label Turbo luxury sedan, used during the making of the "What More Can I Give?" special music video, produced by Michael Jackson, featuring some of the music world's top performers including Mariah Carey, Luther Vandross and Celine Dion. Net proceeds from the sale of the vehicle will go to "Go For Your Dreams Foundation" a corporation recently formed under the California Non-Profit Public Benefit Corporation Law, currently in the process of obtaining tax-exempt charitable status. "Go For Your Dreams Foundation" has been sponsored by Michael Jackson with the expressed purpose of providing and supporting youth-oriented educational, charitable and health programs and activities.

Barrett-Jackson's President and CEO, Craig Jackson along with Vice President Steve Davis, finalized the agreement with Michael Jackson's management team in Las Vegas during the 2003 Radio Music Awards, held on October 26.

"We are very honored that an internationally acclaimed star such as Michael Jackson has selected Barrett-Jackson for this very special event," commented Craig Jackson. "This will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for somebody to own a truly very special car."

Michael Jackson purchased and currently owns the beautifully customized 2001 Bentley with only approximately 13,631 original miles on the odometer. A magnificent combination of sporting performance and luxurious interior, this vehicle was upgraded to Michael's custom specifications featuring: two (2) DVD players (VCX and 1W); three (3) flat screen monitors; television reception; individual airplane style audio controls and viewing at each seat, including headphones; PlayStation gaming system operational at each seat; Dolby surround sound custom stereo system with a six CD disc changer; complete customized interior with wood interior door panels, gearshift handle and rear folding seat back picnic tables; power rear seats; a voice navigational system; a built-in telephone, and complete blackout tint on windows.

The specially outfitted Bentley Arnage was used to chauffeur an all-star cast of world-class singers and musicians to Michael's Neverland Ranch for the recording of the "What More Can I Give?" song to benefit children's charity. The song, written and composed by Michael attracted a celebrity-filled roster, many of whom autographed the interior roof of the car, including; Destiny's Child's Beyonce Knowles, Reba McEntire, Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter, Shawn Stockman from Boyz II Men, Tom Petty and many of the other participating recording artists, including Michael himself.

Michael Jackson is considering personally attending the auction when it is offered Saturday, January 24, at the Scottsdale event. The featured automobile is scheduled to cross the auction podium at 6:00 p.m. and will be televised during the live SPEED Channel broadcast.

The 33rd Annual Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Auction will be held January 21st through January 25th, 2004 at WestWorld in Scottsdale, Arizona.
