Earl Scheib Paint & Body Pledges Support to Southern California Fire Victims
LOS ANGELES--Nov. 6, 2003--Earl Scheib Paint & Body today announced that 3 percent of its Southern California shops' sales during the month of November will be donated to the California Fire Foundation.The company said the contribution was an effort to give back to the communities that have supported Earl Scheib Paint & Body since its founding 66 years ago.
The California Fire Foundation has established a non-profit disaster relief fund which will support and aid the victims of the Southern California fires including firefighters killed or injured in the line of duty.
All monies collected by this organization go directly to this cause. None of the money from this fund will be retained by the foundation, either for ongoing expenses or for future disasters. The California Fire Foundation is a charitable nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization.
Earl Scheib Paint & Body shops participating in the contribution program are located in Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego counties.
