TG Automotive Sealing Kentucky Donates $10,000 to Help Local Community
HOPKINSVILLE, Ky., Nov. 5, 2003 -- During the Grand Opening ceremony yesterday for their Hopkinsville, Kentucky facility, TG (Toyoda Gosei) Automotive Sealing Kentucky announced a $10,000 grant to the United Way of Hopkinsville - Christian County.
The United Way of Hopkinsville - Christian County helps the community in countless ways working with many of the area's local charities. "On behalf of the Hopkinsville - Christian County United Way, I express sincere appreciation to TG Automotive Sealing Kentucky for the generous donation," said Ann Petrie, President, United Way Hopkinsville - Christian County.

In January of 2003, TG Automotive Sealing Kentucky (TGASK) began production of Automotive Weatherstrip components and systems with only 30 employees. After completion of their expansion phase, TGASK increased their associate count to 240 with projections of increasing those numbers to somewhere between 300 and 400 over the next 5 years.
TGASK's 3rd Phase expansion has already begun and is due for completion sometime in February 2004. TG (Toyoda Gosei) Automotive Sealing Kentucky is adding 25,000 square feet of floor space to accommodate 2 additional rubber extrusion processes. Current customers include Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana (TMMI) and Nissan.
