Delphi Announces Continued Relationship With Hendrick Motorsports for 2004

Delphi, in association with Kellogg's to sponsor Number 5 Car Driven By Terry Labonte

LAS VEGAS, Nov. 4 -- Delphi Product & Service Solutions, part of Delphi Corp. , announced today that they are renewing their relationship with Hendrick Motorsports and will become a major associate sponsor of the No. 5 Chevrolet in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series beginning in 2004.

"We are very excited about the new sponsorship agreement with Hendrick Motorsports on the No. 5 car," said Francisco A. (Frank) Ordonez, president, Delphi Product & Service Solutions and vice president, Delphi Corporation. "Our relationship with Hendrick Motorsports has been successful both on and off the racetrack during the past three years, and this new agreement demonstrates our commitment going forward. We are thrilled about having the Delphi brand associated with the winning tradition of the No. 5 team."

Delphi will be prominently featured on the No. 5 Chevy in all Nextel Cup races during the 2004 season. In addition, Delphi will be the primary sponsor of the car at the Brickyard 400, along with three other events, yet to be determined.

The No. 5 team is currently tenth in the 2003 NASCAR Winston Cup Series championship standings, and won this year's Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway. "Delphi has been a valuable member of the Hendrick Motorsports family for the past three years and we're certainly excited that they've chosen to continue that relationship," said Labonte.

In addition to the NASCAR sponsorship, Delphi has been the primary sponsor for Scott Sharp, of Kelley Racing in the No. 8 Car for the Indy Racing League for the past six seasons and has committed to continued sponsorship of Sharp and the No. 8 car through 2005.
