Case Logic will provide a variety of soft-sided fabric inserts for storage bins that attach to the Railport system. These inserts include compact disc / DVD holders, cell phone / Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) holders, tissue holders, and one that houses two pairs of sunglasses. Case Logic also will supply storage cases for a first aid kit, and Black & Decker's 75-watt power inverter. Each one is designed to best suit an individual's lifestyle, work or travel needs.
The Railport system featuring various accessory modules with the Case Logic inserts will be on display this week in the Johnson Controls booth (#10672) at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The show runs from Tuesday, November 4 through Friday, November 7. The SEMA event is the world's largest trade show focused on automotive accessory products, trends and technologies.
The Railport system offers consumers the ability to customize the interior of their vehicles at the point-of-purchase and throughout the vehicle lifecycle. Integrated into a vehicle's overhead system, Railport features a flexible docking technology that provides for the attachment of a variety of modular devices. They include Johnson Controls' AutoVision(R) DVD family grade rear-seat video entertainment system, video displays, remote-control devices, storage products, small tool kits and first-aid kits.
The Railport system is available as standard equipment on Ford's XLT, FX4 and Lariat SuperCab and SuperCrew models of the F-150 pickup truck.
