MPA Announces Strengthening of Sales & Marketing Team

TORRANCE, Calif. Nov. 3, 2003; Motorcar Parts & Accessories Inc. ("MPA") (OTCBB:MPAA - News) announced today it has strengthened its sales and marketing team with the appointment of Bill Laughlin as Vice President Sales, Traditional Aftermarket. In addition, John Foster has been appointed VP of Marketing. In the position, he will manage the Company's merchandising and marketing initiatives for both the Retail and Traditional Aftermarket segments.

Bill Laughlin joins MPA with 25 years of success in the aftermarket automotive parts market focused on sales to traditional warehouses. Prior to joining MPA Laughlin served as General Manager North American Aftermarket at Tenneco and as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at privately-held Radiator Specialty Co.
