GM Again Honors Vestar for Energy Efficiency Projects
CINCINNATI--Nov. 3, 2003--Vestar, Inc., an affiliate of Cinergy Corp. , is again being honored for the successful design and implementation of several energy savings projects at 13 General Motors Corp. automotive manufacturing facilities in six states. The GM Crew Award is given annually to exceptional members of the GM Utilities Services Team.Vestar, working as part of the "Go Fast" Energy Savings Project Implementation Team, oversaw a long-term energy efficiency program anticipated to save GM $4.5 million annually. The team facilitated lighting and paint shop retrofits plant-wide.

"The Vestar team approach and dedication as illustrated by a 'can do' attitude were vital to the energy savings accomplishments that were delivered to GM."
