Cauley Geller Announces Class Action Lawsuit On Behalf of Salespersons of Landers Auto Sales, Inc.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Nov. 3, 2003 -- The Law Firms of Cauley Geller Bowman & Rudman, LLP and Estes & Gramling, PLC announced today that a class action has been filed in the Circuit Court of Washington County, Arkansas, Fayetteville Division, on behalf of all similarly-situated Salespersons of the Landers Auto Sales, Inc. ("LAS" or the "Company") and affiliated Defendants.

The complaint alleges that defendants Landers Auto Sales, Inc., United Auto Group Inc. , Landers United Auto Group No. 6, Inc., UAG Landers Springdale, LLC, UAG Fayetteville I, LLC, UAG Fayetteville II, LLC, UAG Fayetteville III, LLC, Landers United Auto Group No. 2, Inc., Landers Ford North, Inc., and Landers Buick-Pontiac, Inc. perpetrated an illegal scheme of bilking their salespersons of the commission compensation rightfully due them. This scheme was admitted by an officer and agent of the Defendants in the presence of over 50 of the Class Members.
