Pacific Insight and AFL awarded major PACCAR module business

NELSON, BC, Nov. 3 -- Pacific Insight Electronics Corp. ("Pacific Insight") and AFL Automotive's Specialty Products Group ("AFL") jointly announce today that AFL has awarded to Pacific Insight the design and supply of a solid state turn stalk control module for PACCAR Inc. The module will be used on the majority of PACCAR's Class 8 Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks. The module will be introduced into production in July 2004 with annual volumes reaching up to 40,000 units.

The turn stalk module is one of a number of joint sales initiatives that Pacific Insight and AFL are currently working on in the commercial transportation market. Examples of key vehicle functions controlled by the module are turn signals, intermittent windshield wipers and headlamp operations, including daytime running lights.
