Porsche Cars North America Reports October U.S. Sales

Sales Increased by 84 Percent; Best October in History

ATLANTA, Nov. 3 -- Porsche Cars North America, Inc., (PCNA), importer and distributor of Porsche sports cars (Boxster, 911 and Cayenne) in the United States, today announced U.S. retail sales for October totaled 2,655 cars, an increase of 84 percent compared to the same period last year. Total calendar year-to-date sales were 23,077, up from 18,337, an increase of 26 percent.

"As they did in September, the Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet and 911 C4S Cabriolet are driving 911 sales. At the same time, the Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo are gaining market acceptance. Together, the new models have made this the best October in the history of Porsche in the United States," said Peter Schwarzenbauer, PCNA President and CEO.
