Hyundai Sales for October

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Nov. 3, 2003 -- Hyundai Motor America today announced sales of 28,878 vehicles for the month of October, up nearly 10 percent over last October. Year-to-date sales of Hyundai vehicles in the U.S. are up more than four percent.

"Hyundai vehicles deliver the kind of value consumers are looking for," said Robert Cosmai, president and CEO of Hyundai Motor America. "And that brings customers into the dealer's showrooms. Hyundai's record October sales were led by the compact Elantra, the midsize Sonata sedan and the Santa Fe sport utility vehicle."

"All Hyundai vehicles sold in the U.S. are also covered by the Hyundai Advantage, America's Best Warranty, which includes the outstanding 10-year/100,000 Powertrain Warranty," Cosmai said. "It's all part of the great Hyundai value story."
