New Vision Sports Creates Landmark Deal Connecting Chrysler Group and Three Historically Black Conferences -- SWAC, MEAC & SIAC

OAKLAND, Calif.--Nov. 3, 2003--New Vision Sports Properties announced today it has negotiated a ground-breaking, multi-year agreement with the Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge brands of Chrysler Group on behalf of the three Historically Black Conferences. The first of its kind partnership allows Chrysler Group to leverage its three brands with the 32 schools comprised of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC), Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) and Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC).

"The SWAC is excited to partner with New Vision Sports on this agreement with Chrysler Group," says SWAC Commissioner Robert Vowels. "New Vision's deal marks the first time a partnership of this scope has been created between the three conferences, allowing for greater impact and leverage among the 32 schools."

"The partnership we have formed with Chrysler Group through New Vision Sports allows for a unique opportunity in the world of corporate partnerships," says MEAC Commissioner Dr. Dennis Thomas. "I am pleased that Chrysler Group understands the value of the MEAC and its 11 outstanding academic institutions. We consider this a good investment by the Chrysler Group. Furthermore, this partnership confirms Chrysler Group's commitment to diversity with their marketing dollar."

"This is an exciting time for the SIAC," says SIAC Commissioner Dr. William Lide. "New Vision has constructed a partnership that should benefit our proud and distinguished schools for years to come. It will give significant new dollars to SIAC programs and services that will propel us to the national prominence we desire and know will come in the near future."

The far-reaching sponsorship includes advertising in over 80 football and basketball games televised on the Major Broadcast Cable Network (MBC), as well as in-venue signage, dealer hospitality and inclusion in a wide variety of print, advertising and web-based vehicles. In addition to the media platforms, Chrysler Group will have Official Automotive Status with the SWAC, MEAC and SIAC, and title sponsorship of the conferences football and basketball championships. Furthermore, Chrysler Group will have logo rights to all three conferences, and the opportunity to hold seminars at all championship venues, maintain an on-campus presence for student recruitment in the business world and interact with students, alumni and e-commerce communications.

The SWAC, MEAC and SIAC are comprised of 21 Division I and 11 Division II institutions located throughout the south from Texas to Virginia. The three conferences that house these 32 establishments of higher learning have been in existence for over 100 years and have produced some of the sporting world's most famous athletes, including such legendary names as Deacon Jones, Edwin Moses, Walter Payton, Jerry Rice, Lou Brock, Willie Brown and Willis Reed among others.
