Cummins Inc. Powers IndyGo Bus Fleet; Providing Proven Low-Emissions Engines

COLUMBUS, Ind.--Oct. 3, 20031, 2003--Cummins Inc. today announced that the Indianapolis Public Transportation Corp. (IndyGo) has selected the Cummins ISL Engine for its new fleet of buses, reducing emissions by 90 percent, while providing reliable and dependable power.

At a press event held earlier today in Indianapolis, IndyGo announced that it had acquired the latest technology buses, which will provide full accessibility for passengers and will be outfitted with clean diesel engines built by Cummins, an Indiana corporation.
